Regina Betty Ingle, 94, of Olathe, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2019. She will forever be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to everyone she met.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday morning, September 21, 2019 at the McGilley & Frye Funeral Home 105 East Loula Street Olathe, Kansas. Interment in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens 13901 South Black Bob Road Olathe, Kansas. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday morning, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice 11150 Thompson Ave Lenexa Kansas 66219.
Regina was born on July 10, 1925 in McArthur, Arkansas to Jesse (Jim) Lewis and Clara Lou (Miles) Keeton. She attended Desha Central School in Rohwer, Arkansas. She married the love of her life, Oliver Lafayette Ingle. Together they raised their 7 children, Betty Olivia, Linda Jean, Wanda Lou, Juanita Jane, Kenneth Lafayette, Timothy Scott, and Johnny Lee. They were married for over 40 years.
Regina worked for Hisonic Inc. in Olathe Kansas for over 20 years. She served as an Avon Representative for over 40 years. She also enjoyed sewing by making dresses for her granddaughters, quilting, and especially playing Bingo. She enjoyed rooting for the Kansas City Royals and the Kansas City Chiefs. Nothing gave her more pleasure in life than the times she spent with her children and grandchildren. She will be sadly missed.
Regina is preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Clare Keeton, loving husband of 40 years Oliver Lafayette Ingle who passed away in 1982, four sisters, Norma Gladys Snow, Gracie Lee Rial, Nellie Beatrice Sanson, Ruby Jewell Wells one brother, Marvin Cecil Keeton, three daughters, Betty Olivia Carrera, Wanda Lou Conkling, Juanita Jane Thomas, two sons, Kenneth Lafayette Ingle, Timothy Scott Ingle and two grandchildren, Larry Dale Trout and Kenneth Don Cook . She is survived by her loving family, daughter, Linda Jean Main of Olathe, Kansas and son, Johnny Lee Ingle of Deming New Mexico. Left behind to cherish her memory are her grandchildren, James Ingle (Faye), Elizabeth Davis (Tony), Darl Ward (Carla), Melissa Courtright (Charles), Sandra Mather (David), Richard Conkling (Sarah), Jason Conkling (Tricia), Laura Bailey (Scott), Steven Thomas (Hope), and Amanda McNish (Scott) and Olivia Ingle. As well as 29 great grandchildren and 41 great-great grandchildren. Regina is also survived by her brother, Dr. H. Dale Keeton and his wife Mary of Vienna, Virginia, two sisters, Frances May Coulter of Merriam, Kansas and Loretta Jane Orrell of Monticello, Arkansas.
