

Zaima was born on July 8, 1934 to Albert and Gelena (Andrews) Elliott. She married the love of her life Johnny H. Sudduth and to this union was born 4 adoring children. Mrs. Sudduth received her LPN Certificate and worked in various capacities in the nursing field. She was a longtime member of the West Lenexa Seventh-day Adventist Church. Beyond nursing, she was also known for her love of sewing, fishing and crossword puzzles. She enjoyed tending to her flower gardens and watching her beloved Chiefs and NASCAR. Above all, she was a loving mother and grandmother who was consistently supportive. Her outspoken personality and fashionable ways will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, William Randall Sudduth; 2 brothers, Alton and Mahlon Elliott and her great granddaughter, Skylar Rose Suddeth.
Mrs. Sudduth is survived by 3 children, Johnny Michael (Nancy) Sudduth of Kansas City, Kansas, Julie (Tracy) Smith of Wellsville, Kansas and Russell Alan Sudduth of Wellsville, Kansas and 3 sisters, Jeannie Peasley, Ila Warren and Zaida Thompson. Also left to cherish her memory are 6 grandchildren, Joshua (Stephenie) Sudduth, Katie (Brian) Taylor, Kristin Conder (Travis Higgins), Matthew Sudduth, Chance Sudduth and Lenzi Sudduth and 8 great grandchildren.
