
Medical Center in Red Bank. Born in Smith Falls, Ontario he lived in Toronto before moving
to Old Bridge 5 years ago.
Bruce was an avid sports fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays.
He was a writer and poet and enjoyed painting.
He wanted to be remembered as a man who meant well.
Bruce is predeceased by his dearest daughter Kimberly Wilkes and is survived by his loving wife Kathy (Hickey) Wilkes;
his devoted children Laurie (and Rob), Sheri and Kelly (and Sean); his dear brothers David, Jerry and Joel; his cherished grandchildren Shannon,
Sean, Ryan, Michael, Siara, Jamie, Colin and Connor and his adored great-grandson Cameron. Also surviving are several
nieces and nephews.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend visitation from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm Sunday, August 3, 2014
at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home 3377 Hwy 9 Old Bridge, NJ 08857. A Funeral Mass will be offered 10: 30 am
Monday, August 4, 2014 at St. Ambrose RC Church 81 Throckmorton Lane Old Bridge, NJ 08857.
At the direction of the family, cremation will be private.
