

Dolores Regina (Corbett) Stevens, 83, of Old Bridge died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, October 21, 2014. Born in Jersey City she lived in Ridgefield Park before moving to Old Bridge over 50 years ago.
Dolores was a secretary with Carter-Wallace in Cranbury for over 5 years and worked various positions with St. Ambrose parish in Old Bridge. Dolores was a parishioner of St. Ambrose RC Church, a member of the St. Ambrose Altar Rosary Society, St. Ambrose Seniors and St. Ambrose Bible study. She enjoyed reading, trips to the beach and watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 46 years Edward Joseph Stevens, Jr. (2006), her adored daughter Anne Marie (Stevens) Melher (2008) and her dear siblings Miriam, Anne and Joseph. Dolores is survived by her loving children Mark Stevens, Edward (and Kelly) Stevens, III; John Stevens, Cathy (and Glenn) Bonetti and Gail Stevens. Also surviving are her cherished grandchildren Christopher Yeager, Lindsey Bonetti, Matthew Bonetti, EJ Stevens, Meghan Stevens and Connor Stevens.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend visitation Friday, October 24, 2014 from 5-8 pm at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home 3377 Hwy 9 Old Bridge, NJ 08857. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 am Saturday, October 25, 2014 at St. Ambrose RC Church 81 Throckmorton Lane Old Bridge, NJ 08857 with burial to follow Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
