Doris Ann Faas

Doris Ann Faas, 70, of Old Bridge, passed away peacefully Thursday, August 16 at the Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. She was a homemaker who loved her family very much. She was a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxilliary for over 50 years, Post 6200, Ovid, NY. Born in Wilkes Barre, PA., she resided in Old Bridge most of her life. She is predeceased by her mother Doris in 1993. Surviving are her husband of 45 years, Thomas Faas, her father Nelson Barber, and 3 children, Laura Riddle & her husband Charles of Clearwater, FL., Thomas Faas Jr., & his wife Mary-Lou of Delaware, and Christopher Faas & his wife Jennifer of Freehold. She is also survived by her grandchildren Stephanie, Charles, Ryan, Nicholas, Christopher Jr., Lucas and a brother Nelson Barber of Tampa, FL.

Friends may call on Monday, from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, 3377 US Hwy 9. Old Bridge. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered on Tuesday, August 21 at 10:15am from St Thomas the Apostle RC Church, 1 St Thomas Plaza, Old Bridge. Committal will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
