James P. Forbes

James P. Forbes, 82, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Brooklyn, NY, James had lived in Old Bridge before moving to Morganville 17 years ago. He began his career working for the Louis Marx toy company in 1951 and retired from the workforce in 2009. He was a member of the Old Bridge Knights of Columbus. He loved to work, and he enjoyed keeping busy. James was predeceased by his sister, Florence Travis. He is survived by his wife, Nardina Loconte Forbes; his sons: James R., Gregg, and Michael Forbes; his daughter, Dina Forbes; his daughters-in-law, Barbara and Karen Forbes; his grandchildren: Michael, Ryan, Kristin, Gregory, and Jessica; and his nieces and nephew, Joan, Barbara, and Michael Travis. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2013, from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, 3377 Route 9, Old Bridge, NJ. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 1, 2013 at St. Ambrose Church, 83 Throckmorton Lane, Old Bridge. Interment will follow at Brigadier General William C.
