Joan Weiner

Joan Weiner, 81, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she lived in Howard Beach, Queens, NY before moving to Old Bridge in 1994. Joan was a secretary for Duralab Equipment Corporation in Brooklyn for 25 years retiring in 1994. Joan also enjoyed reading. She was predeceased by her husband, Stanford Weiner, in 1989, and is survived by her daughter, Meryl Weiner, her daughter and son in law, Allison & Ken Vass, her daughter and son in law, Karen & Anthnoy Valenti, and her daughter Teri Weiner. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren, and her sisters, Bernice & Barbara. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2012 from 3-5 & 7-9pm at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, 3377 Rt. 9, Old Bridge, NJ. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 10am at the funeral home. Interment will follow to Wellwood Cemetery, Farmingdale, New York.
