Joann Nemeth Evensen

Joann (Nemeth) Evensen, 74, of Old Bridge died gracefully on Monday, December 29, 2014 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Born in Manhattan, NY, she was raised in Brooklyn and lived in South River before moving to Old Bridge 19 years ago.

Joann was devoted to her family and enjoyed her 17 years working at Bradlees in East Brunswick until her retirement in 2001.

She is predeceased by her beloved parents John and Helen (Kloton) Nemeth and her husband John Phillip Evensen (1992). She is survived by her adored children Donna Marie ( and Philip C.) Spiers of Old Bridge, John Paul Evensen of Toms River, Kenneth Michael Evensen of Sayreville and Stephen Joseph Evensen of Sayreville; her dear brother John Nemeth; her loving sister Rosann Marczak and her cherished grandchildren Kira and Bryan.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend visitation Friday, January 2, 2015 from 2pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 9pm at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home 3377 Highway 9 Old Bridge, NJ 08857. Cremation Services will be private.
