Karen loved her family, especially her kids. She was an avid reader, and loved to play Bejeweled.
Mrs. Young was pre-deceased by her sister, Kathleen Nigro. She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Michael A.Young; her sons, Ryan & Logan; her mother, Joan Collender; her brother, Richard Mayer; her sister, Kristine Cecil; and many nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 from 6-9 pm at the Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, 3377 Route 9, Old Bridge, NJ, with a prayer service at 7:30 pm. Cremation will be private.
