Robert Emmet Farrell Jr.

Robert E. Farrell Jr., 65, of Old Bridge, NJ, died Saturday, August 16, 2014 at St. Peters University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. Born in Jersey City, he lived in Jersey City, before moving to Old Bridge 10 years ago.

Bob was a Taxi Cab Driver for Greenville Taxi in Jersey City for over 30 years and for the past 5 years he owned and operated Bob's Dirty Water Dogs in Jersey City. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Bob was pre-deceased by his sister, Margaret Cookson in 1982 and his grandson, Michael in 2010. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Kathleen "Timmy"(nee Grace). His son, Robert of Old Bridge and 3 daughters, Dawn, Kim and Monica, all of Old Bridge. One sister, Patricia Barrett of Andover, NJ and two grandchildren, Juliana Miranda and Madison Fletcher.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, 3377 US 9, Old Bridge, NJ. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at 10:30 am at St. Ambrose RC Church in Old Bridge. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ.
