In honor of AJ, his loved ones have asked that family and friends join them for visitation on Friday evening, April 10th, from 6PM-8PM as well as Saturday, April 11th, from 10AM to 12PM at Hermitage Funeral home. A service of memory will follow at 12PM and loved ones ask that those attending wear black and red in honor of AJ’s favorite colors.
AJ was born on April 23rd of 2001 in Nashville, TN to Stephanie Suhm and Aaron McPeak, Sr. He attended McGavock High School where he later graduated in 2020 with an achievement in Honors. AJ was proud to have been a hard-working member of JROTC (Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps) and had a passion to one day serve his country. In previous years, AJ enjoyed playing the drums and was often heard tapping to the beats of his favorite songs. Music was one of his first loves and AJ found that his favorite artists were among both hard rock and alternative rock legends and personally determined that music was best played at maximum volume to truly capture the necessary experience. AJ enjoyed the finer things in life and was known to take down a good steak from time-to-time. While quiet, he had a magnetizing presence that filled a room with such ease and warmth. It wasn’t uncommon to see him quietly fluttering around a room, ensuring no family or friends ever went unnoticed while he was around. He seemed to always carry a charming, and slightly mischievous, grin that will forever be cherished by those blessed enough to know and love him.
He is survived by his loving family on his mother’s side: Stephanie Suhm (husband TJ); grandparents, Melissa Jared and the late, Steve Jared; grandparents, Ronnie and Darlene Jones; grandmother, Barbara Reusch, great-grandparents, Joe and Judy Jared and his late great-grandmother, Barbara Mosley. He is also survived by his brother, Austin Taylor and sister, Carly Suhm, and uncles David Jared (wife Sharon), Stephen Jared, his late uncle, Joey Jared; and his nephew, Jaxon Taylor
He is survived by his loving family on his father’s side: Aaron McPeak, Sr. (wife Mindy); grandparents, Steven and Letizia McPeak; great-grandparents, the late Arthur McPeak and Ruth McPeak, Santiago Lopez, and Mary Lopez. He is also survived by his siblings, the late Caine McPeak, and Olivia and Wilson McPeak; and his aunt, Selena Spence (husband Andy) and Isaiah Williams and Ariah Williams.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared with the McPeak family by selecting "Add a Memory" at the bottom of this page.
