Betty Ann Bowman

Betty was a lifelong resident of Old Hickory and was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church for many years. Betty enjoyed cooking and hosting many family gatherings, especially during the holidays. She looked after her neighbors, often driving them to the beauty parlor or other appointments, always looking out for them. Betty enjoyed her pets, both dogs and cats and always took great care of them.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, James Delaney Cassidy and Betty Ann Beach Cassidy and a brother James “Jimmy” Cassidy and her beloved husband of 58 years Jimmy Bowman.

She is survived by her sons, Stephen (Sandra) Bowman, David (Jennie Lynn) Bowman and Mark Bowman. Grandchildren; Lauren (William) Tate, Stephanie Bowman, Taylor Pate, Briley Bowman,Sophia Bowman. Great grandchildren, Hazel Tate, Olivia Herman, Amelia Herman, Mason Tate, Anthony Moon and Ace Pate.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM, Thursday April 10, 2025 at the Hermitage Memorial Gardens, 535 Shute Lane, Old Hickory, Tn.
