She was born in Madison, Tennessee, to the late Albert W. Mitchell and Allie Frances Corley Mitchell. Betty retired from Federal Reserve Bank as a clerk after 32 years of service. She was a faithful member of Hermitage Hills Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Holly Michelle Drayer.
She is survived by her brothers, Steve Mitchell (Pat), Charles S. Mitchell, and Albert Thomas Mitchell, and her sister, Delores Butler.
Visitation will be at Hermitage Funeral Home on Friday, April 5, 2019 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm. The Celebration of Life will immediately follow at 1:00 pm with Bro. Billy Friel officiating.
Interment will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
