Betty L. Wright

Mrs. Wright was the matriarch of the Lee Family and revered as such. She had a clerical career with the Nashville Metropolitan Government until retirement. At that time, she enjoyed reading and traveling. She was able to visit all fifty of the American states and traveled extensively around the world. A favorite location for relaxation for her and husband, John, was the beach in Panama City Beach, FL. They had a boat and enjoyed as much of the water as possible.

Mrs. Wright is preceded in death by her father, Joe E. Lee; her mother, Rosie (Mitchell) Lee; her loving husband of approximately 50 years, John W. Wright; her sister, Jane Elizabeth Lee; and her brother, Robert E. Lee.

Mrs. Wright is survived by her sister, Janice Myers, and a very special niece, Gayla Lee. She also leaves behind numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was loved and will be missed by so many.

There will be a graveside Celebration of Life on Monday, December 5, 2022, at 2:00pm in the Garden of the Good Shepherd at Hermitage Memorial Gardens with Diane Houssam-Abbott, officiating. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared with the Wright family at www.HermitageFH.com.
