Brad was the Vice President of Sales at Performance Food Service in Johnson City, TN since July of 2023. Prior to that he was the District Manager in Nashville, TN for Performance Food Service working out of the Bowling Green, KY Opco since the fall of 2017. He had worked in food sales since 1998.
Brad was born on January 21, 1967, at Fort Sanders Hospital in Knoxville, TN. He attended Central High School in Knoxville, TN and the University of Tennessee. He was a lifelong Vols fan and planned his Fall around Tennessee Football. Brad loved all sports and in addition to the Vols was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys and St Louis Cardinals fan. He loved going out on his boat on the lake, riding bikes and motorcycles, but most of all loved visiting his home in St. Simon’s Island, Georgia.
He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Amie Rhea Blanchard; son, Collin Marshall Blanchard; son, Greyson Cole Blanchard; his beloved Rescue Dog, "Jake from State Farm"; father, Arthur Marshall Blanchard; mother, Linda Gail Blanchard; father-in-law, Bob Rhea; mother-in-law, Ann Rhea; grandmother-in-law, Virginia Jennings; sister, Lori Puett (Brian); brother-in-law, Jon Rhea; Brad also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, extended family members, and his tribe of amazing friends.
Brad was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Lowell Blanchard; paternal grandmother, Sally Blanchard; maternal grandfather, Carl Bunch, Sr.; maternal grandmother, Edna Bunch; and his sister cats, "Chloe" and "Zoe".
There will be a Gathering of Family & Friends Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 1:00 PM to - 3:00 PM in the Tulip Grove Room at Hermitage Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will begin at 3:00 PM, also in the Tulip Grove Room. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared with the Blanchard family at www.HermitageFH.com.
