Charles R Nipper, age 89, of Hermitage, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022. Charles was born October 8, 1932 in Nashville to his parents Walter Ray and Josephine Walkup Nipper who predecease his. Charles loved to work in his garden tending to his roses and loved all flowers. He had a tremendous love of animals, especially all of his fur babies including his Yorkie's Joei, Lori, and Daisey Mae and his Himalayan cat Maylene. He was a member of the Goodlettsville Church of the Nazarene "GoodNaz" and was a US Army veteran. Charles was an Inspector for Ford Motor Glass Company, which he retired from.
Charles is predeceased by his loving wife Mattie Jo, brothers and sisters and their spouses; Walter (Mildred) Nipper, Elise (Vic) Syndewick, Virgil (Dorothy) Nipper, Emma (William) Cole, Marion (Billy) Johnson, Peggy Rambo, and Brother-in-law Jim Bell.
Charles is survived by his daughters Pamela J. (Aaron) Gunter and Debra L. (Carl) Huddleston, by his grandchildren Charles Aaron (Aimee) Gunter and Andrew Scott Gunter by his Sisters Ansil Bell, Connie (Alton) Mabry, Bother-in-law Larry Rambo and numerous Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
He was a wonderful person who loved his family, his pets, and his friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
There will be a graveside service with military honors held at a later date at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
