Chase went to Donelson Christian Academy from preschool to 11th grade, Trousdale County High School for his senior year and then Austin Peay State University.
Chase will forever be remembered as a devoted father who loved his children with every fiber of his being. He was an extraordinary husband whose absence will be profoundly felt, and a son and brother who kept family close to his heart. He was a man who stood up against injustice, never tolerating a bully, and his protective nature touched the lives of many.
Chase had a deep love for sports, especially baseball, football, and tennis. He was a true car enthusiast with an ability to fix anything with remarkable skill. Chase also found great joy in coaching kids on their athletic journeys, offering encouragement, and dedicating himself to their development.
Wherever he went, Chase brought fun and light, making every room brighter with his presence. His ability to make others feel valued and cherished was a gift, and he found true happiness in bringing joy to those around him. He will be deeply missed but always remembered for the love, kindness, and warmth he shared with everyone.
Chase was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy C. Mitchell; his brother, Jamie Mitchell; and his grandparents, William R. Mitchell, Cliff Keckler, and June Keckler. He is survived by his wife, Jessica Hawk Mitchell; son, Izzy Mitchell; daughters Coralie Mitchell and Jamilynn Mitchell; father, Jimmy Mitchell; brother, Justin Mitchell; father- and mother-in-law, Benjamin and Cynthia Hawk; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
