Chester “Buck” Eugene Minchey, age 86, of Old Hickory passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 in Lebanon, TN. Buck was born in Gainesboro, TN and was the son of the late Chester and Dovie Flatt Minchey. Mr. Minchey is survived by daughters Debra Daciola (Michael), Pam Yearwood (Jerry) and Christie Minchey; son Jimmy Adkins (Kristi); six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and also three nieces and one nephew. Buck was a Metro Police officer and was owner of Minchey Construction. Mr. Minchey was a loving and giving person always willing to help those in need. Buck was preceded in death by his parents Dovie and Chester Minchey, sister Francis Skipper, brother Jerry Minchey and son Richard Minchey. A private family funeral will be held at Hermitage Funeral Home and burial will take place in Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
