

Cloyce Yvonne Amos Tow, age 93, of Old Hickory, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2025 in Lebanon, Tennessee. She was born August 22, 1931, in Buckeye, Arizona to parents, Leta and Clifton Amos. She would be the eldest of three girls.
Cloyce grew up in Union City, Oklahoma, where she attended the majority of her schooling until graduating. While in school she loved playing the piano, tap dancing, and playing basketball. After graduating high school, she moved to and worked in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she met her future husband, Ronald Wade Tow. As a young couple, Cloyce and Ronnie loved many activities like square dancing and bowling. The couple later moved to Old Hickory, Tennessee.
Cloyce’s outgoing personality and her vibrant smile allowed her to make many wonderful friendships throughout her lifetime. Her faith in Jesus Christ proved most evident in her devout presence in her home church, Old Hickory Baptist Church.
Cloyce was an incredible golf player and, along with Ronnie, traveled to enjoy many wonderful courses all over the United States. A devoted wife, a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and homemaker, Cloyce will be sorely missed, but each of us who knew her will forever hold her in our hearts.
Cloyce preceded in death by Ronnie, her husband; her son, Steve; and her granddaughter, Nicci. She is survived by daughter, Debbi Tow Tidwell (Jeff Tidwell); grandson, Justin Tidwell (Laura); great grandchildren, Westyn and Walker Tidwell; granddaughter Jessica Tow Klingler (Jesse Klingler); great grandchildren, Bella Klingler and Major Klingler; great grandchildren, Carley Trawick Fossett (Ethan Fossett) and Dallis Trawick.
There will be a Gathering of Family & Friends for Cloyce on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Hermitage Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 11:00 AM in the Tulip Grove Chapel at the funeral home. Following the service, Cloyce will be laid to rest in the Mausoleum in the Garden of Memories at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
