She worked at National Life Insurance Company for many years and then her family business Carl Koontz and Associates.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years Wayne Vanderpool and her son Jason Vanderpool.
Mrs. Vanderpool is preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Cora Koontz and her brother Ken Koontz.
Gathering of family and friends Monday July 21, 2025 from 4:00-8:00pm at Hermitage Funeral Home and Tuesday July 22, 2025 from 12:00-2:00pm also at Hermitage Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will begin at 2:00pm in the Tulip Grove Room at Hermitage Funeral Home. Burial following Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
