Growing up in Clarkesville, Cynthia developed strong family and social ties despite the great depression and WW II. She maintained close ties with “The Girls” throughout grade school, high school, her college years at Austin Peay University and beyond the 60th reunion of Clarksville High school class of 1949.

As a detail oriented person, Cynthia was well suited for her responsibilities with insurance and accounting offices as a bookkeeper and secretary. She was known for her multi-tasking, great memory and stellar typing skills.
Cynthia enjoyed traveling with her sister’s family to Holden Beach in North Carolina and to Texas to visit and sightsee with her brother and his family.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents Robert Gordon Anderson and Mai Erwin Anderson and a sister, Martha Anne Anderson Pemberton.
