

David Lee Carlon was born on August 8, 1959 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to the late Lois Brents Carlon and Robert Harold Carlon. He graduated with an Architecture degree from the University of Arkansas and remained an avid Razorback fan for the rest of his life. He was an Air Force veteran who was awarded the Bronze Star for meritorious service while deployed to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. His love for his wife and daughters was clearly shown in the way he talked about them on a regular basis. He was a member of Hermitage Hills Baptist Church where he volunteered weekly at the church's food pantry because he had such a heart for people who were struggling to make ends meet. He never met a stranger and loved/tried to lift up everyone who crossed his path with a smile and kind words. He passed away on February 12, 2025 of a massive stroke.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Joanne Fermanis Carlon; daughters and sons-in-law..Jennifer and Charles Brewer and Kimberly and David Thornton; grandchildren...Barrett and Rosie Brewer and Emma and Audrey Thornton; brother...Thomas Carlon; sister and brother-in-law...Martha and Mike Barger; and niece and her husband...Lindsey and Seth Powell; and niece...Samantha Carlon. The family would like to thank everyone for all the prayers lifted up on their behalf and for your presence here today.
Visitation Monday February 24, 2025 from 5pm to 7pm at Hermitage Funeral Home and Tuesday February 25, 2025 from 9am till 10am at Hermitage Hills Baptist Church. Celebration of life to begin Tuesday at 10am with Pastor Matt Hill Officiating. Private Interment to follow at Middle TN Veterans Cemetery.
