David worked for Metro Fire Department from 1978 then retired as a Captain in 2012.
He is preceded in death by mother Jo Anne Parker.
Survived by loving wife of thirty nine years Marjorie Parker and dog Jake. Father Harry Parker. Sisters Ellen (Phillip) Parker and Leigh Anne (Wayne) Gregory and several nieces and Nephews.
Graveside services will be held 11 am Wednesday at Hermitage Memorial Gardens with Reverend Mr Wayne Gregory officiating.
