Growing up, Bob’s job required frequent moves that took the family to California, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Eric spent significant portions of his life in Northern Virginia where he established lifelong friendships. Later in life, Eric moved to Florida where he discovered a love of the beach, and Tennessee where he eventually pursued his Bachelor’s and then Master’s degrees in accounting at Belmont University in Nashville. Eric worked as a professional accountant for the last dozen years.
In 2019 Eric became a father to a beautiful daughter who adored him dearly and Eric was a loving and caring father in return. Eric always had a green thumb when it came to house plants, and it was after the recent purchase of his first home that he expanded that passion to outdoor gardening and landscaping where he spent much time tinkering in his yard. Eric was also well known for his cooking skills and it was also often suggested he could have been a chef. Eric loved music but above all genres and bands, was a “Dead to the core” fan of The Grateful Dead.
In his formative years, Eric’s friends dubbed him with the nickname “Easy” due to his laidback, easy-going approach to life. Eric was known amongst his family and friends as a generous, kind-hearted, gentle soul with a constant sense of humor and an infectious laugh. He was a son, a brother, a father, an uncle, and a friend to many. He loved well … he was well-loved … and will be greatly missed.
Eric is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William and Barbara Glenn; his maternal grandparents, Ronald and Carol Moore. He is survived by his daughter, Tatem Love; his parents, Robert “Bob” and Kim Glenn; his brother, Jason Glenn (Jessica); his sister, Katie Stevens (Matt); nephews, Derrick and Michael; and niece Emma. Eric also leaves behind numerous extended family and friends. “Fare you well, fare you well, [we] love you more than words can tell”.
Services will be held at a later date. Fond memories, pictures, and words of sympathy may be shared with the Glenn Family by selecting “Add a Memory” at the bottom of this page.
