Ethel married Robert Edward McCullen, her husband of 64 years on June 11, 1955. Robert served in the military and they lived in many places before settling in Hermitage. Ethel loved the Lord and was a faithful member of the Baptist church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was proud of her family and enjoyed the many memories she shared with her children, grandchildren and great grandchild. Ethel enjoyed gardening and creating beautiful flowerbeds.
Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, James Albert and Linnie Powers, her husband Robert Edward McCullen, and her brothers, James Powers, Roy Powers, Ray Powers and Landon Powers.
Ethel is survived by her son; Timothy Edward (Rhonda) McCullen, daughter; Gail Robin McCullen, grandson; Jamie McCullen, granddaughters; Shelby McCullen and Andrea Leonard, a great grandson Tyler McCullen, brother; Albert Powers, sisters; Evelyn Sherman and Barbara Diser.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday August 16, 2024 from 12:00 Noon until time of service. The Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00PM with Brother David Taft officiating. Interment to follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
