Mr. Golden is a native of Nashville. For 25 years he was a vocalist and keyboardist for Kenny Rogers. As a member of Mr. Rogers’s band he was privileged to perform in all 50 United States and travel the World. Following retirement he continued studio work and record producing. In his free time Eugene stayed very active playing golf and tennis.
Mr. Golden is survived by his only child, daughter Nysha (Philip) Quirk; grandchildren Devon Bailey Quirk and Aidan Tyler Quirk; and sister Kaye Golden Wright.
Mr. Golden is preceded in death by his wife Manone Golden; parents John and Katherine Golden; brothers Frank Golden and Johnny Golden.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 4pm - 8pm at Hermitage Funeral Home and on Friday, April 30th from 10am - 11am. A Celebration of Life will begin at 11am. The Celebration of Life service will be live-streamed via Facebook on the "Hermitage Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens" page. The live-stream will not begin until approximately 1 - 2 minutes prior to the beginning of the service. Burial will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
Philip Quirk, Devon Quirk, Aidan Quirk, Keith Stem, Sam Childs, Aubrey Cole and Bobby Daniels will service as pallbearers.
