

She was born on April 21, 1941, to the late Will Cave and Rosie Sullivan Hamblen of Mount Juliet. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, William Kenneth (Ken) Donnell, Sr. She is survived by daughter, Lynn (David) Turner, Mount Juliet, son, William Kenneth (Ken) Donnell, Jr., and granddaughters Kristen Kay and Kayla Faye Donnell, all of Lebanon.
For over 50 years she was a member of First Baptist Church, Old Hickory, where she enjoyed singing in the choir and helped launch their bus ministry. She was a devoted wife and mother, and her love for family extended to her passion for genealogy. As her children grew older, she worked part-time in sales where she enjoyed meeting and helping people. She delighted in loving on her granddaughters.
Visitation and services will be at Hermitage Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday, December 21 from 12:00-3:00 p.m., followed by services at 3:00 p.m. conducted by Reverend John Hunn.
Honorary pallbearers are Richard Bouton, David Bowers, Dr. Steven R. Dickerson, Andrew Douglas, Carrol Everette, Milt Herring, Ronnie Sullivan and David Turner.
