I found this picture of Frankie recently. It was a picture Mom had taken when Frankie came down to SC visit Mom. Frankie didn't want to have her picture taken, but she humored her Aunt Gladys.

Dear Shane and Brandon,

I just found out about Your Mom in Sunday School Class this morning, and I was shocked.  She previously was a  member of our class. Oh, what a joy she has always been and so funny. Please know that our entire class is praying for You both.  How she loved her sons.  You guys were always the "apples of her eyes." Your Mom was so special to so many.  Please let me hear from You.

I am truly sorry for your loss.  Frankie was always warm and friendly to me.  I still have a lovely music box that she gave me when I retired.  May God ever bless you is my prayer.

I will always be grateful for Miss Frankie for all the times she took care of me as a kid as well as being a great cub scout leader.  My thoughts and Prayers are with you Shane and Brandon.

Frankle always opened her home to us as teenagers, was an inspirational teacher, and blessed us with a wedding shower along with many childhood memories. My heart goes out to Shane, our friend from grade school, and Brandon as well.

Brandon, Shane, and Family,
Frankie was a good friend to me and so kind and generous to Nick and Emily.She would come through the school pick up line early to get Emily from kindergarten and take her for an ice cream or snack and then drop her back off at school when she came to pick up you at your dismissal time. I remember she was room mother every year and everyone wanted to be in your room because she planned the best parties.After she began teaching I would run into her at Walmart and her buggy would be full of school supplies or Christmas gifts for her children at school. She touched so many lives with her kindness, love, and generosity. I am blessed to have known her. 
You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Frankie was so nice to Margo and me, plus my parents, her parents and all the other kinfolks. 

Our caring love, gentle prayers are with all of you grieving and missing her, her wonderful humor, her caring ways and joy for people! She was such a hoot and a happy go lucky lady. You always knew what she thought, smile, which is a gift!

She will be missed by us dearly. Margo and I had so wanted to attend this Thursday, but her father died last Saturday; thus, we are slammed with details for a memorial service this May 30 here. 

We recall her bright yellow mustang that was rented that was quite the buzz at one of the Lake Murray family reunions.

She had volunteered to stay with Margo's father this summer to help us with our 25th wedding anniversary. She said it helps a person to focus on another person, instead of just oneself.

She was such an outstanding teacher of many in Nashville who so needed someone to really care about them and READING and LEARNING and having a chance to move up and onward!

We love ALL of you connected in any way to her past or present!

Mike was very fond of his cousin Frankie and always enjoyed talking with her.  She was also very compassionate towards our daughter Lydia.

Your mother was a kind and sweet person.  While growing up with you, she treated me as if I was one of her own sons.  She carted us around to play baseball and soccer, she put up with us when we stayed up late playing video games and watching movies, she was our cub scout leader, she had a great sense of humor, and she always made sure we were comfortable and having fun.  Those are just a few of the many good memories I have that remind me of what a wonderful mom she was.  I will miss her.

Frankie was a great person.  She was always so caring toward her students, and she went way above and beyond by purchasing many things for them from her own money.  She will be greatly missed! She's teaching many in Heaven right now!

Shane, Brandon and Bobby, Frankie gave me many good memories.  We spent some time with Grandmother Guess in Olar. I remember riding bikes out to the farm and going to Rivers Bridge State Park with Frankie .    Camping at Dale Hollow with the families one summer long ago was fun as Frankie treated me as a fellow teenager.  She and her friend Caroline (sic) had me watching the laundryat the laundromat while they flirted with older guys. Since she was around 16 and I was only 13, she made me feel all grown up and cool.  That and the summer in Olar have given me many good memories of her.  Frankie was always able to laugh with others and at her self.  She will be missed greatly.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

We were so saddened to hear about the loss of Ms.Holloway. We worked with her several years at Bordeaux Elementary. She was such a kind, giving, and witty lady. She will be greatly missed. Our prayers are with the family during this time.

I'm so sorry to learn of your loss. My girls still remember her visit after Dad died and how much it lifted Mom's spirits. She was such a caring person with a wonderful sense of humor. My daughters both had so much fun playing with Frankie and the Boston Terrier in front yard. That dog would not turn the rope loose and was such a good sport.  After Frankie's visit, it wasn't long before I had to get a dog for Julia, my youngest daughter. When Frankie and Mom got to talking it was just like listening to Aunt Loretta and Mom carrying on as they had in the past. I'm sure you all will miss her, I know we will, too.  Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers as you go through this trying time. Take care and God Bless You All!
