Gene Mullen

Gene Mullen, age 86 of Nashville, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015. Preceded in death by his sister, Carol Mullen Mitchell. Survived by his wife of 64 years, Marjorie Mullen; son, Clyde Mullen; daughters, Becky (Larry) Pearsall and LuAnne (R.D.) Williams; brothers, Dr. Louis (Naomi) Mullen and Paul (Anna Lois) Mullen; 5 grandchildren, Amy (Ryan) Henderson, Jennifer (Mike) Kelley, James Swinney, Brandon and Patrick Williams; 4 great grandchildren, Kyrstin and Rilee Henderson, Ella Gerald and Melody Williams. Mr. Mullen was a U.S. Army, Korean War Veteran. He was a member of Lebanon Road Church of Christ and was retired from Commonwealth Life Insurance Company of Kentucky with over 30 years of service. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted 3 pm Friday, July 10, 2015 in Hermitage Funeral Home Chapel with Paul Mullen and Bro. Harry Middleton officiating. Interment will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers. Visitation with the family 4 – 8 p.m. Thursday and 1 – 3 p.m. Friday.
