Gina Cauthen Vallett Tisdale

Gina attended McGavock High School where she participated as a talented majorette in the marching band. Following high school, she attended Middle Tennessee State University where she studied Early Childhood Education.

Gina lived in the Nashville area her entire life where she raised her four children. She was a doting mother and Gigi to her grandchildren, whom she absolutely adored. Over the years she must have attended thousands of sporting events to cheer her children on. Her life was dedicated to her family. She loved the sun and going to the beach. She enjoyed a house full of friends and family whenever possible.

Gina is survived by her children, Kimberly Mathis (Barron), Jeffrey Vallett II (Ashlee), Melissa Webb (Mark), and Lindsey Caskey (Aaron). Also surviving are her grandchildren, Griffin, Nolan, Ivy, Oliver, Stone, Owen, Kylee and 2 more on the way. Her living siblings include sisters Judy Brandon, Ellen Thigpen and Debbie Hill. Her brother, Dwight Cauthen, precedes her in death.

A private service, with only her children and their spouses in attendance, will be conducted in the coming days. A memorial service open to all of her family and friends will be held in the near future. Those arrangements will be announced at a later time.
