Harvey Loren “Hank” Tenney passed away August 11, 2022. Born September 19, 1935 in Adrian, West Virginia, he will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, and friend. Hank loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending his days outside with family and friends. He loved to golf, was an avid fisherman (especially on Kentucky Lake) and had a blast snow-skiing in the Rocky Mountains. You would often find Hank & Kay walking the local greenway, enjoying the day. He loved exploring the National Parks across the US and sharing his adventures with a laugh and a smile. Hank supported the Boy Scouts and the Dupont Senior High School Band Boosters for many years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Kay Tenney; children Steve Tenney and Stacey Tenney; brother Stanley (Lorietta) Tenney, and many nieces and nephews, including Fawn Fenton. Hank is preceded in death by his parents, Denver and Mabel Tenney, and his sister Janet Kay (Sam) Bailey.
Gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday August 16, 2022 from 4:00pm-6:00pm at Hermitage Funeral Home. Memorial Celebration of Life will begin 6:00pm in the Tulip Grove Room at Hermitage Funeral Home.
