Jack Allison Tipton

Jack Allison Tipton , 97, of Mount Juliet passed away April 22, 2025. He was born June 14, 1927 in Old Hickory ,Tennessee. Jack worked helping his family thru many many hard times doing odd jobs, anything that would help them put food on the table until he was drafted into US Army where he severed during WW II. Later he was employed by Herndon and Merry Ornamental Iron. He retired after 40 years of service. Jack and wife Ezell were employed and assisted in the opening Bass Pro Shop in Nashville he retired after 15 years with them. A dedicated fisherman when not working and he had the tales to tell. And could he tell them.

Mr. Tipton is survived by his children; Jackie Tallent (Bob) Sandra Spurlock (Randy) David Tipton (Cindy), William Ayers (Rose); adopted sister Lisa Elkins; 8 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grand children and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years Ezell Knowles Tipton; Father Walter Stephens Tipton; Mother: Ruby Della Emerton Tipton; sisters Laverne Burton, Elaine Boatman Harris and brother Willard Tipton.

Gathering of family and friends Friday April 25, 2025 from 4:00-7:00pm at Hermitage Funeral Home. Also on Saturday April 26, 2025 from 10:00-11:00am. Celebration of Life will begin at 11:00am in the Tulip Grove Room at Hermitage Funeral Home. Burial following Hermitage Memorial Gardens.

Tommy Tipton, Seth Cope, Dyllan Tipton, Jayden Tipton, Kaine Tipton and Danny Perez will serve as pallbearers.
