Mr. Bentley enjoyed watching all sports but was an avid fan of the Tennessee Titans. He retired as a Divisional Manager from United Parcel Service (UPS) after 25 years of service.
Mr. Bentley is preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Janet L. Bentley; father, Virgil Bentley; mother, Eleanor (Haynie) Bentley; and brother, David Bentley. He is survived by his daughter, Lori Ann Phillips and fiancé, Timmy Thompson; son, Chris Bentley and partner, Wayne Mock; grandson, Blaiz Phillips and fiancé, Caroline Higgins; brother, Daryl Bentley (Karen); and sister-in-law, Mary Jane Bentley.
There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 12pm – 1pm at Hermitage Funeral Home followed by a Graveside Service at 1pm in the Garden of Everlasting Life at Hermitage Memorial Gardens, officiated by Dr. Judson Hays. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
