Mrs. Joan Cullen was born January 26, 1934 in Independence, Kansas to Bruce S. Ward and Violet M. Riggle.
She was the wife of the late Arthur Cullen and settled down in Hermitage, Tennessee. Joan and Art enjoyed life with their three children while traveling across the country and to other regions of the world as Art proudly served in the US Army. In later years they enjoyed traveling to Florida, South Carolina, California, Kansas and Missouri.
Although Joan fell ill, she gave us all such hope and courage. Joan would spend hours cuddling up with a good book.
Joan is survived by her 3 children, Melinda O’Meara of Maryland, Bob Cullen of South Carolina, and Cheryl Armstrong of Tennessee; 6 grandchildren; Rick O’Meara, Jeremy Cullen, Christopher Cullen, Ryan Armstrong, Patricia Baker and Pamela Luft; 8 great grandchildren; Matthew O’Meara, Lincoln Luft, Sloane Baker, Loralei Luft, Rowan Baker, Lyndon Luft, Madelynn O’Meara and Jensen Baker; brother Ted Ward, of Florida, and sister Carol Romero of Colorado.
Grave side service will be held January 21, 2022, at 1.00P.M.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
