Joe E. Pyron

PYRON, Joe Edward, age 81 of Madison, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2012. Preceded in death by his wife, Mae Pyron; parents, Fred W. and Stella Draper Pyron; brother, Bob Pyron; step-daughter, Patsy Whitley and niece, Lisa Pyron. Survived by his brother, Dale (Shirley) Pyron and sister, Barbara (William) Owen; sister-in-law, Mary Jane Pyron; 6 nieces and 2 nephews; his very special lady, Claudia Lollar. Joe and his brother Dale, formed Madison Paving Co. in 1958. Joe was a devoted brother and business partner. He will be sorely missed by the many people whose lives he touched. Joe was a member of Neely’s Bend Baptist Church and served his country in the U.S. Army. The family would like to thank his Church family for their many deeds of kindness to Joe during his illness and a special thanks to Lawrence and Ruth Ann Cameron. Joe was able to stay in his home during his illness thanks to his very loyal caregiver of 7 years, Carolyn Harper and his cook & housekeeper of 10 years, Dixie Cline, and caregiver, Bonnie Murry. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2012 in Hermitage Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bill Williamson officiating. Interment will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers. Visitation with the family 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday and 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Saturday.
