Joshua Robert Parsons

Joshua Robert Parsons, age 44, of Madison, Tennessee passed away suddenly on Saturday evening August 2, 2025, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Madison. Joshua was born in Nashville, TN on April 10, 1981, to his parents Kenneth Robert Parsons and Christy Lynn Lucy McGaw.

Joshua was a heavy equipment operator for Jones Brothers Construction. He went to Hendersonville High School and was a life long resident of the area. Joshua was a very funny person, always making people laugh and putting smiles on his family and friends faces. He had a heart of gold and would help anyone that needed him and his love of his family was evident and he was obviously a "Mama's" boy. Even though Joshua had a rough beginning, in the end, he was able to turn things around and his life was on the right track. He was a great friend and will be sorely missed by his loving family, friends and all that had the opportunity to know him.

Joshua was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Harvey and Opal Lucy, paternal grandparents Clifford and Pearl Parsons, and his grandchild Kingston Allen Harris. He is survived by his mother Christy L McGaw, his father Kenneth Robert Parsons, his sisters Amber Tidwell, Aubrey Parsons Gephart, Kendall Parsons Gonzalez, Chelsea Parsons and Jennifer Yates; his children Nicole Virginia Harris, Ashlynn Faith Warner, Jared Michael Parsons, Bryson Robert Parsons and Makayla Federico, his grandchildren Kingsley Michelle Ruth Leichty, Westen Thomas Angus and Everleigh Grace Parsons and by his nephew Joshua Austin Tidwell, niece Breanna Elslynn Alexander and several other nieces and nephews.

There will be a gathering of family & friends for Joshua on Friday, August 8, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Hermitage Funeral Home, 535 Shute Ln, Old Hickory, TN 37138. His Celebration of Life service will follow at 2:00 pm in the Tulip Grove Chapel at Hermitage Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in the Garden of Memories at Hermitage Memorial Gardens immediately following his service.
