She is preceded in death by parents, William Walter and Helen Larkin Corbitt Castleman, and husband of 27 years, Allan Charles Brenneis.
She is survived by six children, Joseph Taylor, Alanna (Erik) Frederiksen, Teresa (Brett) Pruitt, Clay Taylor, Tracy (Adam) Alderman, and Alicia (Jeremy) McClanahan; fifteen grandchildren, Candace Taylor, Elizabeth Taylor, Christopher Taylor, Matthew Taylor, Jessica Taylor, Nolen Frederiksen, Shannon Moshier, Kameron Pruitt, Zachary Moshier, Jaylii Pruitt, Wesley McClanahan, Mackenzie Brenneis, Ava Alderman, Nathan Alderman, and Riely Alderman; great grandchild, Remi Taylor; sister, Ellen (Steve) Beauman, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, September 29, 2017 at Hermitage Funeral Home from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and also on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm.
The Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, September 30, 2017 in the chapel of Hermitage Funeral Home at 2:00 pm.
Interment will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
