Karen Kay Unland

Karen Kay Unland, age 77, of Old Hickory, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family. Karen was born on November 27, 1945 in Connersville, Indiana to her parents Joseph Neill Anderson and Vivian Adams Anderson who predeceased her.

Karen was a realtor and a graduate of Donelson High School. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Mt. Juliet. She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Richard Unland Jr who went to be with the Lord on March 21, 2016 by her daughter in law Jennifer D. Unland and her granddaughter Hannah G. Unland.

Karen is survived by her children; Troy D. (Kimberly) Unland, Scott W. Unland, R. Brad Unland and Neill A. (Amy) Unland, by her grandchildren Nikki (Drew) Cochrane, Dr. David (Rachel) Unland, Noah Unland, Savion Unland, Sarah Unland, Lalaina Unland and Lilly Unland, by her great grandchildren Ellie Cochrane and McKinley Cochrane, by her brother Joseph Neill (Jane) Anderson Jr and by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be a visitation for Karen on Friday April 28, 2023 from 4 pm until 8 pm at Hermitage Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens 535 Shute Lane, Old Hickory, TN and on Saturday April 29 from 10 am until 11 am at Victory Baptist Church 1777 Tate Lane, Mt Juliet, TN 37122 with her funeral service at 11 am with Bro. Chuck Groover officiating. Her final resting place will be in the Garden of Apostles at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.

Memorial Contributions in Karen's honor may be made to the Meals on Wheels of Mt Juliet.
