Leonard B. Sanford, age 84, of Madison, passed away May 16, 2015. Preceded in death by wife, Mary Ruth Sanford; parents, Buford W & Laura Sanford. Survived by children, Carl W Sanford, Ron L Sanford; grandchildren, Jese Farmer, Jared Olson, Jacob Sanford; great grandchildren, Aidan Farmer, Connor Farmer; aunt, Estelle Donaldson; friends, Heide Kelly, Ruby Maxwell, Ralph Sanford, Stan Sanford. Mr. Sanford served as 1st Sgt. in the Tennessee Army National Guard and was a retired supervisor for Ford Glass with over 35 years of service. Funeral Service 1 pm Tuesday, May 19, 2015 in the Hermitage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Buddy Jarrell officiating. Interment to follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens with Anthony Wessels, Bud Schoening, Ronnie Palmer, Tracy Maxwell, Ralph Sanford & Jared Olson serving as active pallbearers.
