Gene,  I'm sure sorry to hear that Linda is gone.  I wish I could be there to help you all.  Our prayers are with you!!  I'm off the coast of Brazil, now, and it seems I'm so out-of-touch with the family.  I'll try to contact you when I get back to the states.  I can't imagine how distraught you must be after sharing your life with a person for over four decades and then having to lose them.  Please accept my sympathy and my empathy for your loss. Linda, you will be missed. I am so glad we connected again on FB..and it was so good seeing you the times when are grandbabies had class together.. I remember you posting about the meals I was cooking, and we were going to have to cook one day... nothing can compare on the feast your having today. I won't say goodbye for it's just see you soon. Linda was a sweet, kind and gentle soul.  I am saddened by her passing, but glad I knew her while working with me at F&A.  She will be missed dearly.  My deepest condolences to her family and friends.

We have very fond memories of Gene and Linda Miller and family.  We first became acquainted when we pastored the Donelson Church of the Nazarene in the mid 1980.  They were special friends and we are so sorry to hear of her passing.  Love and prayers to Gene, Jeff, Gina, Kyle and their families.

Linda was a good friend to me.  She was always joyful and had some uplifting things to say each time that I saw her.  I am saddened by the loss to her family and will praying for comfort in the weeks ahead.  Love you, Linda.

Gene, Gina & Jeff it has been almost 30 years since we last broke bread together. I will remember fondly the travels with you all and Linda on the Chapel Keys bus. May God give you peace and comfort in the days ahead. Truly a woman who loved Jesus and has now been welcomed home.

I am very saddened to hear of my friend Linda's passing.  When I started working for the state, Linda was the first friend I made there, and throughout the time I was there, Linda was one of my best buddies, closest allies and overall favorite people.

Linda had a sly and delightful sense of humor, and she and I cut up and joked around constantly.  She was one of those rare people who could see the humor in the most irritating situations, and take things as they came, always maintaining her calm and gentle demeanor.

After I left the state I continued to check in on Linda from time to time, usually during basketball season.  Linda was a huge UK fan, so I would always get her take on how they were doing.  I have many funny memories of Linda, but my favorites are her descriptions of how she and her son Kyle went about watching basketball games.  Apparently, their nerves were pushed to the brink whenever UK would be in a close game.  Linda told me Kyle would usually be nervously peeping at the game over the back of the couch while she would be sequestered in a closet or outside in the car where she couldn't see or hear what was going on.

Whenever I think of Linda, it brings a smile to my face, and as legacies go, I think that is about as good of a mark as you can leave in this world.  My sympathy goes out to her family.  The world is a poorer place without her, and she will certainly be missed.

My husband and I went to school with Linda at Owen County Kentucky. She graduated in 1965. We remember her as an exceptionally warm, friendly, and kind person. Loosing a classmate reminds us of our own mortality yet always kindles memories of our friends--and Linda was a friend to both of us.

It is hard to put into words what Linda meant to all who had the privilage to know her as a friend.  She was kind to all and had a quiet sense of humor that endeared her to all.  As a Avid KY basketball fan she often told how she went to extreme measures to never see them lose a game.  As a avid TN fan we often teased each other which made the games much more fun. 

Life without Linda will be different.  I will miss going to say hello every morning at work and I will miss our teasing each other about our sports team.  I know that she is rejoicing in Heaven and cheering us on in our race.  I hope that I can finish my race as well as she finished hers.
