CATES, Margaret Eady, age 83 of Old Hickory, passed away Monday, Jan. 28, 2013. Preceded in death by her husbands, James W. Cates, Sr. and B.L. “Bud” Jackson, Jr. Survived by her children, Linda (Roy Allen) Dauberman, Donna (Steve) Ledbetter, Debbie (Tommy) Hensley, Joni Jackson, Randy (Bridget) Jackson and Marti Sandiford; 14 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Cates was a member of Woodbine Baptist Church and was retired from the Nashville Metro Police Dept. with 21 years of service. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013 in Hermitage Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Grandchildren will serve as Pallbearers. Visitation with the family 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Thursday.
