Marlene was a mother of mothers. Raised three children, including a girl from Switzerland for one school year. Married 20 years, with many memorable times.
She will be missed by all. My sympathies & love to my three stars of my life and my three grandchildren.

country school together.  We enjoyed many activities together as well!

Your mom's friendship was one of God's best gifts to me.  She was a strong, loyal, funny, God-loving woman who shared so much of herself with others.  She was extremely proud of how her children and grandsons had supported her through the years and, especially, the last several months. May Jesus' peace that passes all understanding be your constant companion during this time.

Marlene was such a sweet, Christian woman.  We extend our heartfelt sympathies and prayers for all of you.  We loved studying the Bible with her each week while she was at Two Rivers.  Our Bible Searchers class was and still is a family and Marlene will always be part of that family.  We know how much she loved Jesus and all of you.  May God give you comfort now as you learn to live without her.  She was a precious friend and we look forward to seeing her one day again...Love in Christ.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences. Its been so long since we met, I don't remember where or when it was, but I remember she was always sweet and a joy to talk to. I am very sorry for your loss, your family is in my prayers.

Marlene was a follower of Christ who ministered to others through her cards and loving notes. Marlene had a heart for missions and worked with me to welcome and love on our visiting missionaries. If she made a commitment she followed through. I am thankful that Peggy Mitchell and I had a good visit with her. That day she asked that we pray for her as she was going to try and explain to her Grandson what was happening. Her eyes always told the story of her love for God and her family.

We have known and loved Marlene since she first moved to Nashville and was a member of our class at Two Rivers Baptist and now at First Baptist of Mt. Juliet.  We will miss her.

We will miss our dear friend Marlene but know we will meet her again in heaven. Our memory will always be close in heart. One of the sweetest women of the LORD that we have ever known filled with love for all .May The Lord comfort all of you children and grandchildren. George & Gail Robinson
