Martha Terrell Smith, age 76 of Mt. Juliet, TN, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2015. Born in Memphis, TN to the late Homer and Muriel Terrell, Martha is also preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Claude Smith. Survived by her children, Brad (Jonna) Smith, Jenny (Mark) Stewart and Adrian (Jodi) Smith; grandchildren, Braelyn Smith, Hannah Dubin, Abby Taylor, Britt, Ray and McKelvey Stewart, Ben and Avery Smith; half-brother, Frank Terrell. Martha graduated from Southside High School and St. Joseph Nursing School in Memphis and worked as a registered nurse in Mississippi and Tennessee. She was a member of Siloam Baptist Church in Meadville, MS. A Celebration of Life service will be conducted 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2015 in Hermitage Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gerald Bontrager officiating.
