Martin S. “Bubba” Hammock, 65, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away February 5, 2025. He was born in Springfield, Tennessee to parents, Derwood and Hattie Hammock. Professionally, Martin owned his own Tile Marble company.
Martin is preceded in death by his father, Derwood Hammock. He is survived by his mother, Hattie (King) Hammock; brother, Michael Hammock (Lavada); son, Joshua Hammock (Kisha); daughter, Jessi Hammock (Amber); grandchildren Ransom, Luka, Carlos, Jasmine, Aliyah, Kemontay, and D’Anthony; aunts, Shirley Stratton and Lillian King; and nephews, Brandon and Brent. Martin also leaves behind many cousins, extended family members, and friends.
There will be Gathering of Family & Friends for Martin at the Hermitage Funeral Home on Monday, February 17, from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 18, from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Tulip Grove Chapel at the funeral home. Following the service, Martin will be laid to rest in the Garden of Peace at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
