Maxine Covington, age 73 of Old Hickory, TN passed away Friday, May 27, 2016. Survived by her husband of 39 years, Wayne Covington; daughters, Pam Scoggins (Connie), Jamie Watkins (Kenneth) and Toni Covington; sons, Tim Covington and Jeff Anderson; sister, Polly Shockley; grandchildren, Joshua, Gracie, Amanda, Christopher, Kensley and Mali; great grandchildren, Savannah and Braydon. Maxine attended Victory Baptist Church and was retired from Northern Telecom. She was a avid camper and loved her flowers. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted 11 am Wednesday, June 1, 2016 in Hermitage Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Chuck Groover officiating. Entombment will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation with the family will be 3 - 8 pm Tuesday and from 9 - 11 am on Wednesday.
