Myrna Sue Curry Sizemore Rexroat

Myrna Sue Curry Sizemore Rexroat, age 77, went home to be with our Lord on Thursday, February 15, 2024. Myrna was born to the late Charlie and Beulah Austin Curry on March 26, 1946. Myrna spent much of her childhood and adulthood as an avid learner and educator of countless children. Myrna married her soulmate, Lee, in 1969. Myrna earned numerous accolades and degrees including her EdD from Peabody, but was most proud of the family that she and Lee created. Myrna found joy and support from her latter husband, Larry. They shared a number of special memories together.

Myrna is preceded in death by her parents, husband E. Lee Sizemore, their infant daughter, Dawn Marie Sizemore, husband Larry P. Rexroat, sister Jeanette Anderson, and brother Charles Curry.

Myrna is survived by sons Greg (Audre) Sizemore and Kevin (Holly) Sizemore. Her grandchildren, Joshua, Luke, Spoony, and Ella Sizemore. Sisters Barbara (W.M.) Seals and Carol Bowdish. Sister-in-law Carlene Curry. Step-daughter Laura (Robert) Rexroat-Sink. Several special nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather for visitation on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, from 11AM until the time of service at 1pm at Hermitage Funeral Home. Brother Dan Arterburn will officiate the service. Interment to follow the service at Hermitage Memorial Gardens with family serving as pallbearers.
