Nola Dean Stone, age 90, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023. She was born on April 6, 1932 in Springfield, TN to her parents Shelby and Maude Blick Gorrell who preceded her in death.
Nola was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was an avid reader and was a loyal baseball fan that knew all the players statistics. She was a Christian and enjoyed attending church until her health made it difficult to attend. She was a wonderful woman and will be dearly missed by her loving family and all that knew her.
Nola was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 44 years Thomas L. Stone. She is survived by her son Ron Stone (Linda), daughter Kathy Johnstone, granddaughter Kyla Stone, her sister Joann Brooks and numerous other family members.
There will be a visitation for Nola on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Hermitage Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 535 Shute Ln, Old Hickory, TN 37138, followed by a graveside service at 11:00 am in the mausoleum at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
