Robert Gavin Winfree

Robert Gavin Winfree, a beloved and gregarious young man, passed away on December 23, 2025, at the age of 20. Born on June 10, 2005, Gavin was known for his love of University of Tennessee Football and his adventurous spirit.

He is survived by his parents, Justin Winfree and Autumn Carmichael; his brothers, Landon, Gunner, and Wyatt and his sister, Kinsley. Gavin also leaves behind his grandmother, Anita Spicer; grandparents, Olivia and Terry Winfree; and his great-grandmother, Anne McMurry. Cherished by many, he is also survived by his uncles, Bryan (Amanda) Winfree, Corey (Cari) Winfree, Jeremiah (Allie) Carmichael, and Christopher (Jessica) Carmichael; his aunt, Lindsay (Patrick) Keeling; and many loving family members.

A visitation will be held on January 2, 2026, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Hermitage Funeral Home, located at 535 Shute Ln, Old Hickory, TN 37138, US. A Celebration of Life will follow on the same day at 2:00 pm with JK Graves officiating at Hermitage Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.

Gavin's adventurous spirit and love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
