Sherry Wofford Crutcher

Sherry Wofford Crutcher, age 77 of Mt. Juliet, passed away Nov. 23, 2013. She was predeceased in death by her parents, Leonard & Ocye B. Wofford; Alex Buford Crutcher-husband; Charles Franklin Barnes-husband; Jimmy Wofford-brother.

She is survived by her son, Kerry Barnes (Wei Yue); daughters, Debbie Menconi (Al), Rhonda Shepard (Gary) and Tammy Webb (D.J.); brother, Ron Wofford (Judy); sister, JoCele Harris (Bill); 8 grandchildren, Alison Menconi Pruett, Rachel Shepard Armstrong (Jacob), Lauren Shepard, Leslie Shepard Anderson (Adam), Whitney Barnes, Andrew Menconi , Tanner & Daniel Webb; 6 great-grandchildren, Kalie & Ethan Pruett, Mary, Lydia & Phoebe Armstrong and Austin Anderson; special aunt, Lucille Wofford; several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Crutcher was an active member of Maple Hill Church of Christ in Benton, KY and later Green Hill Church of Christ in Mt. Juliet, TN. Most recently she has attended the Providence Church in Mt. Juliet, pastored by grandson, Jacob Armstrong. She retired from AT&T after 28 years of service.

Visitation with the family will be 4-8 pm Monday, Nov. 25, 2013 and 9-10am Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Hermitage Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10 am Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013 at Hermitage Funeral Home with Rev. Jacob Armstrong and Bro. August Ruff officiating. Family and friends will gather at 2:30 pm at the Walnut Grove Baptist Church in Dover, TN for a committal service with Bro Dan Sykes officiating. Interment will follow in Wofford Cemetery.
