Timothy Marshall Burlison was born on March 29, 1966 to Carl and Shirley Burlison. It wasn't long after his birth that they learned Tim was Downs Syndrome. Though there were many challenges in his life, Tim has been a blessing to all who knew him and he faced life with joy and happiness. Tim graduated from Bailey at 22 and went to work at New Horizons shortly thereafter. He worked there for more than 30 years. Tim loved people, animals, and coffee, but most of all he loved his Savior. He was one of the most loving, kind hearted and gentle people anyone could ever know. He left this world on April 20, 2023. He has blessed us all with his life and will be greatly missed.
Timothy is preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Burlison. He is survived by his father, Carl Burlison; brother, Steve (Vickie) Burlison; sister, Treva (Aaron) Prince; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends Tuesday, April 25, 2023 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Hermitage Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will begin at 3:00pm in the Tulip Grove Room at the funeral home. Following the service, Timothy will be laid to rest next to his mother in the Garden of the Good Shepherd at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
